Dace Krēsliņa is an award-winning Latvian picture book author and illustrator whose work blends emotional clarity, nature-inspired imagery, and a quiet sense of wonder. Her stories invite both children and adults to observe closely, imagine freely, and discover the hidden connections within the world around them.

She is the author and illustrator of four picture books, including a sustainability-themed detective series, one of which was selected by BolognaRagazzi as one of 150 outstanding sustainability books worldwide. In 2025 she received the Jānis Baltvilks Prize as the best illustrator of children’s books.

An active sketchbook practice and regular workshops with children are central to her creative life, shaping her visual voice and keeping her close to curiosity—the place where all her stories begin.

    Light consistency, not sticky. The color is not visible, but the main thing is the feeling on the lips and the work it does. The skin of the lips is soft, tender, filled with moisture.

    Really like it! Light but deeply moisturizing, nourishing. Fits perfectly, smoothes out easily and absorbs quickly! Not heavy, greasy or sticky, leaves skin feeling soft and comfortable! And the smell - after Latvian summer... ;)
